So now it is November 20th! This time has just flown by. As I reflect on the last few months there have been ups and downs but in the end things seem to even out.
I have been painting and just sold one of my originals called "Diamonds in the Mist" It is always exciting to sell one of my works of art as it means that this person in able to enjoy my style of painting and hopefully show others and, well you know. word of mouth is the very best advertising!
Another wonderful thing has happened this week. I have found a friend who I lost touch with many years ago. We touched base this very evening and it was like we never missed a beat! We laughed, we remembered, we reminised, and just got to know each other again! I have missed her so.
It really doesn't matter how many years pass, if your friendship is strong when it began it will be just as strong when you meet again. I am anxious to do a painting for her to hang on her wall.
Christmas is just around the corner, I am doing some art work for that, as well as helping another friend get some things ready for her Christmas. Christmas is a sad time for us as a family, we have had some of our loved ones pass on at this time of year. This Christmas will be especially sad for my family in the Hat as my oldest brother passed away in Sept. But life goes on, and we must make the most of it. We are on this earth for such a short time, we all need to enjoy, laugh, sing, paint( had to put that in there) whatever makes us happy. Life is what we make it. :)
