Things are happening this weekend! We have a "Big " show going on in Marda Loop on Saturday the 17th! Four of us are showing our art from 12 - 4:00 in the afternoon.
This will be held in Tammy Winterhouse's Back yard. She runs Limelighter and is happy to have us there doing our Art show. We are please that this has come together well so far and all of us are ready and raring to go!
I have done a few new art pieces for this occasion and of course I am hoping that others will like them.

So here I am again with this writing on my blog thing. :) I have an art instructor that writes on hers almost everyday! I find that very hard to do. I guess sometimes I am just a bit lazy to do that.
I have gone back to work. I know- I was retired and now back. I missed my paycheck ! That is what I was able to buy all my extra painting supplies. So yes I went back but just for two days a week. Just enough to purchase what I need.
This painting you see on the left I did with pouring mediums and inks. It turned out so " out there". I have called it" Lightning Striker".
It was a friend of mine who noticed the Alien head and the little "fire" man  shooting fire at this head. Like I have said before, you can never know what is going to happen when you start an abstract! it is an amazing transformation.
