So, I am getting a painting ready to put into a show. The theme is Black and White. I have been so busy that I haven't done much of anything. I quickly grab a canvas and started in.
I had an image in my mind. Sometimes I don't. I started to paint and using my pouring medium I started to squirt some black and white onto the canvas. I expected it to blend like it usually does. Well - that did not happen this time. It kind of sat there, and sat there, and sat there.
I went upstairs and let the painting fairies do their thing overnight. LOL . I went down in the morning and low and behold nothing had changed ! Soo what do I do now? I am not particularly fond of it but it is what it is. The painting obviously wants to stay this way! Who am I to try to control what this abstract wants to be? I feel like a Three year old could have done this. But, in the end, this piece is going into the show as is. It looks cool, as the sides are black. It stands out and wants to be known. The only thing left is to name it? Another dilemma! :)
